HHMI's International Research Scholars Program will award five-year grants to support promising basic biomedical research scientists working in the Baltics, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.

Eligibility
Only scientists working in countries specified in the program announcement are eligible to apply for grant support. The International Research Scholars Program does not consider unsolicited grant proposals or award grants for clinical trials and research on health education, health-care delivery, or health services.
